The following engaging sessions will be offered at the 45th Annual Conference:

• Advising for the Masses
  o The benefits of group advising will be discussed, including tips and strategies that you can use at your college.
 
• Testing Forward
  o Nuts and bolts strategies for adjusting to the new TSI Assessment Test.
 
• Alamo Leaders Move the Needle
  o Learn about The Alamo Way, which is the three pronged approach used by the Alamo Colleges in its continuous improvement process.
 
• Your Educational Map to Success
  o The MyMAP connection to completion approach to student success will be examined in depth.
 
• The Price is Right
  o St. Philip’s College has partnered with USA Funds to help reduce the loan default rate of its students. This session will show you how it is done.
 
• Cracking the Glass Ceiling
  o Learn about the Women in Non-Traditional Occupations (WINTO) Program and how it results in success for students and employers.
 
• What is Your EQ?
  o Examine the concept of emotional intelligence and how it you can integrate it into your life.
 
• ADLI: Results Driven Success
  o Learn about the steps taken by St. Philip’s College as we pursue performance excellence by following the Baldridge Program process.
 
• Measuring Up
  o This financial aid update will explore methods to help students maintain their SAP (Satisfactory Academic Progress) eligibility.
 
• Keep it Cool
  o This session will explore the Strategies of Behavioral Intervention (SOBI) strategies used in the Alamo Colleges.
 
• 116 Year and Counting
  o Learn about the long and glorious 116 year history of St. Philip’s College.
 
• JCCSPAT’s Bright Future
  o Join members of the J/CCSPAT Board to discuss the future of the organization. Your input and ideas will guide the way!
 
• Advising Best Practices
  o This session will delve into the strategies for developing an educational plan for students. Bring your best tips and trick s and share them with others!
 
• Soldier and Scholar: Becoming a Military Friendly Institution
  o Strategies for providing excellent service to Active Duty Service Members, Veterans, and dependents will be examined in depth.
 
• Serving Students with Disabilities
  o Everyone can succeed in college. Learn how to best serve our students with disabilities.
 
• Tutoring: Your Bridge to Academic Success
  o Tutoring works! This session will discuss the various strategies and partnerships used at St. Philip’s College to help promote student academic success.
 
• Student Success Spanning the Globe
  o This session will review Filling the Gap on Student Success Model for International Students.
